November Wellness Retreat

Why: Its Time To Take A Day To Focus On YOU!


You know your wellness is important, but do you take the time to invest in it? We’ve designed an entire day focused on you; your head, your heart and your body. Our retreat features a line-up of local experts that will share with you brain fitness, yoga, mindfulness and healthy cooking skills in our beautiful river-front space. This day will give you the gift of rest and relaxation as well as new skills and tools to take home and use to keep you well.

   Your wellness retreat experience begins at 9:30am with yoga so that we can create a foundation for our day. This practice is for all levels – even if you’ve never stepped onto a yoga mat. From there, the rest of the day is designed to flow with ease. We will inspire you to dig deep within yourself, reduce the stress hormones that fire all week-long, give you tools to strengthen your new or existing meditation practice and help nourish your body and soul with a fun and relaxing culinary experience.  You will walk away with new knowledge and skills to keep your body and brain healthy – which in itself is worth it’s weight in gold.

This is your day to play, learn, eat, rest and grow. Whether you choose to come on your own, pair with a friend, or bring your whole crew, we can’t wait to spend a day focused on YOU!

Building Your Stress Reduction Toolbox

This week’s workshop focus is something we could all use a life saving course on this time of year: Stress! What is it? How does the body react to it? How can we manage stress powerfully in order to become our best selves at work and at home? Knowing the answers to these questions and being able to call on the right tools at the right time can make a world of difference in managing your emotions and controlling stress levels successfully.  During this workshop, our team will aid you in creating a toolbox full of all the right tools needed to successfully manage stress.

Navigating Change With The Brain In Mind

The paradox of change is this: the human brain craves change & yet it often reacts to it with resistance.

  A number of theories and systems related to managing change are available to the public in a variety of forms. So, why does change remain such a challenge for nearly every team and organization out there? Our Thought Design team takes a new approach to navigating change that will definitely be valuable to you and your entire organization. In this innovative workshop we begin with understanding how the brain experiences and adapts to change. Finally, after a few thoughtful discussions, we explore brain-friendly ways to manage the change process within your organization, equipping you with the tools you need for successful transitions.
