Free Workshop: Brain Science 101

This workshop will touch on basic brain anatomy, where our emotions come from, how memories are created, and how to keep our brains functioning at optimal performance. During this signature workshop, you’ll learn the foundational knowledge that much of our design thinking is built upon here at Thought Design.

Free Lunch & Learn Workshop – Thinking Toolbox: Failure

It’s so hard for us to deal with, that we don’t spend a lot of time thinking about the relationship we have with failure. The irony, though, is that failure is one of the most important things to your brain. If you never failed anything throughout your lifetime, you couldn’t walk, talk, ride a bike, or relate to people; everything that’s meaningful to us has a string of failures that’s a part of our story. Instinctively, we all know that failure is important, but we don’t want to talk about, think about and certainly not experience it, definitely not in front of other people. Join us for a lunch and learn workshop, where we’ll dive a little deeper into the science behind failure, and a tool that you can use to help you reframe your experience with failure.

Join us for yoga, a mindfulness workshop, and smoothies. You know your wellness is important, but do you take the time to invest in it? We’ve designed a mini wellness session just for you – your head, your heart, and your body. We will inspire you to dig deep within yourself, help you to reduce the stress hormones that fire all week-long, give you tools to strengthen your new or existing meditation practice and help nourish your body and soul with some brain and body fuel.
