“Emotional intelligence” refers to a set of competencies that support our ability to manage ourselves and our relationships with other people.
People with strong EI are able to understand other people and the dynamics of an organization, and influence events to achieve their goals and the goals of the company. They have strong interpersonal relationship skills, can adapt to rapidly changing environments, and maintain balance during high-stress situations.
If Emotional Intelligence is a new concept for you, or you are looking to explore EI competencies in a new way, this workshop is for you. During this 90-minute session, we will:
- Define and discuss what is EI and its importance in the workplace
- Learn about the EI Competency Model
- Explore the EI competencies of Positive Outlook and Adaptability
- Discuss simple strategies you can implement into your work and personal life
